Long-time Mississauga resident Simmer Kaur is the candidate for Ward 5 City of Mississauga municipal council. She has the energy, ideas and values needed to be an exceptional representative for the people of Ward 5 at City Hall.

An accomplished real estate professional and entrepreneur, Simmer Kaur is the co-owner of Sutton Group Liberty Realty Ltd, based in Ward 5, Mississauga.

Prior to entering the real estate field, Simmer attended Central Peel high school in Brampton and went on to complete post secondary courses in business administration at Humber College. She also completed continuing education courses in accounting and computer technology.

A well known and active member of the community, Simmer has worked with many local businesses and community organizations to contribute to her community and assist others. Her efforts include Tsunami relief fundraising, volunteer work with local seniors, volunteer work with Canadian Eyesight International and involvement in various cultural festivals.

Simmer has lived in Mississauga with her husband and two children ages 7 and 16 for the past 13 years. An immigrant who came to Ontario from Punjab, India at the early age of 18, Simer has become an asset to the community through hard work, struggling to overcome challenges and perseverance.

An intelligent, committed and compassionate individual, Simmer strives to make positive change each and every day. She believes in a government that is responsive to the needs of constituents. Through hard work, leadership and the support of the people of Ward 5, Simmer will be a dedicated and effective representative of her constituents at city hall.
